Kaori Body Oils Shipping Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
At Kaori Body Oils, we are committed to delivering your handcrafted body oils in a timely and secure manner. Please review our shipping policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 3-5 business days (Monday - Friday, excluding holidays).
Custom or bulk orders may require additional processing time. If an order requires extra time, we will notify you via email.
2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight. We offer the following shipping options:
Domestic (U.S.) Shipping:
Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days
Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days
Overnight Shipping: 1 business day (available for select locations)
International Shipping:
We currently ship to select international locations. Delivery times vary based on the destination and customs processing. International orders may take 10-21 business days to arrive.
Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, or other unforeseen circumstances.
3. Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking updates to appear in the system.
4. Shipping Carriers
We primarily ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The carrier used for your order will be determined based on your selected shipping method and location.
5. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
Kaori Body Oils is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages once they have been marked as “delivered” by the carrier.
If your package is lost in transit, please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim.
If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, check with neighbors, your local post office, or the carrier for further assistance.
6. Incorrect Shipping Address
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.
If you enter an incorrect address and the order has not yet shipped, contact us within 24 hours at info@kaoribodyoils.com to request an address change.
If an order is shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer, Kaori Body Oils is not responsible for reshipping or refunding the order.
7. Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or with missing items, please email us at info@kaoribodyoils.com within 7 days of delivery with the following:
A clear photo of the damaged item(s) and packaging
Your order number and contact information
Once we review your claim, we will provide a replacement or store credit if approved.
8. International Shipping & Customs
International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by the destination country. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our prices.
Customs processing times vary and may cause delays beyond our estimated shipping timeframe. Kaori Body Oils is not responsible for customs-related delays.
9. Returns Due to Non-Delivery
If an order is returned to us due to:
An incorrect or undeliverable address
Refusal to pay customs fees (for international orders)
Failure to pick up the package from the carrier
The customer will be responsible for any reshipping costs. If a refund is requested, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
